Former Chief Operating Officer of Orbital Technologies, Stiphan Beher Speaks At The Global Russia Business Forum

Stiphan Beher participated on the panel discussion of Rethinking Russia's Competitive Edge, where he supported diversification of Russia's economy through New Space development.

Former Chief Operating Officer of Orbital Technologies, Stiphan Beher attended the Global Russia Business Forum in Valencia, Spain hosted by Horasis, The Global Visions Community. Mr. Beher participated on the panel discussion of Rethinking Russia's Competitive Edge, where he supported diversification of Russia's economy through New Space development. Mr. Beher stated, "Russia's technology is on par with that of the United States, yet, generates only a small fraction of the global USD 300 Billion industry. Russia has a clear opportunity to grow its share of the global Space industry to take on the private enterprises now generating the bulk of the industry. Firms such as Energia need to take a more proactive role in the global marketplace."

Stiphan Beher served as Chief Operating Officer for Orbital Technologies, developer of the Commercial Space Station since becoming involved early in 2012 when negotiating an equity investment on behalf of Royal Group UAE in his capacity of General Manager. Royal Group UAE, one of Abu Dhabi's largest conglomerates is Chaired by Sheikh Tahnoon.

Mr. Beher has recently stepped down from Orbital Technologies to head SpaceTek, which plans to introduce a low orbit Space Station of its own by 2020, with the purpose of serving as a platform for deep space exploration and as a space lab with plans to grow the micro gravity testing market. The firm has recently signed a number of key agreements within the industry positioning it for rapid growth and plans to develop branding opportunities.
