Former Director of Management at R.E.M Residential, Aida Gashi, Joins LandlordsNY as Head of Business Development
New York, New York, July 9, 2015 LandlordsNY, an innovator in social media for landlords and property managers, announced today that Aida Gashi, R.E. M Residential’s former Director of Management, joins the company as its new Head of Business Development.
Gashi, a native New Yorker whose father is a Resident Manager of a luxury high-rise condominium, was exposed to building management from early on. Having studied Political Science and Pre-Law, she began her career at the Department of Housing, Preservation and Development as a researcher for Housing Policy. From there, she joined the team at R.E.M Residential and eventually became their Director of Management. Gashi, originally a member of LandlordsNY, is excited for the change.
“I have come to a point in my career where I needed to take this serendipitous opportunity. I am very excited about the possibilities and the growth of this company where I will be using my background in marketing, outreach and writing.” says Gashi.
In May, LandlordsNY unveiled a new website design that included significant improvements to the user experience. The site’s new features enable landlords and property managers to easily share information in the private forum including uploading videos and images.
“Aida provides a unique perspective being that she began as a user of the site. She’s a fantastic addition to the team,” said J’Nell Simmons, Executive Director of LandlordsNY.
