Forsaken Generation to walk for Freedom on Independence Day in San Diego

The first annual Walk for Freedom hosted by Foresaken Generation will be held on July 4, 2010 in Balboa Park to raise awareness about Child Sex Trafficking.

On a day when our nation celebrates their freedom, the first annual 4th of July Freedom Walk will offer a sober reminder that hundreds of thousands of children right here in the United States are not free. They are slaves being held against their will. Bought and sold as commodities. These children are victims of the horrific world of child sex trafficking. The United States has recently become the #1 destination in the world for child sex trafficking. This is a problem we can no longer ignore. We are encouraging individuals and organizations nationwide to be a part of this event that will set the stage for a movement in our country; a movement to free these children who are victims of this horrific crime.

A Forsaken Generation Freedom Walk is scheduled to take place in San Diego, CA on July 4, 2010. The walk will take place at Balboa Park, walkers will meet at the Prado. The walk begins at 5pm. Visit www.forsakengeneration.com/freedomwalk and click on the name of your city to visit that cities Facebook events page. We have invited a number of local political figures to attend the event to voice their support for this incredible cause.
