Fort Smith Dentist Recognized With Community Involvement Accolade

Fort Smith, AR, August 10, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Dr. Charles Liggett, of River Valley Smile Center, a leading dental practice in Fort Smith, Ark., was awarded the Community Service Award by Fort Smith radio station KISR 93.7.

Liggett and River Valley Smile Center has partnered with KISR for many community service events such as the KISR Easter Egg Hunt and back to school supply giveaways. KISR presented Liggett with the award at the KISR Easter Egg Hunt.

Liggett graduated from Louisiana State University, School of Dentistry, in New Orleans, where he earned a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Liggett has been very community-oriented throughout his professional career: traveling to Jamaica more than ten times on dental mission trips, founding the Weekend Dental Clinic and Free Extraction Day (which provides those in need with free or affordable dental care), organizing discussions for the local dental community to better recognize and prevent child abuse and neglect and more.
