Foundation for a Drug-Free World Florida Racing Through Tampa Bay With the Truth About Drugs
Tampa, FL, February 26, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Just last weekend, Drug-Free World attended the Gasparilla Race and Health Expo at the Tampa Convention Center, not only providing a booth with information on its message but also including 20 runners in the race who wore the Foundation’s logo.
Roxanne Siero, the Executive Director for the Foundation for a Drug-Free World Florida said, “It is up to all of us to get the truth about the harmful effects of drugs to every corner of society where drugs have taken root and are destroying lives. In order to achieve this, we have partnered with 115 other like-minded organizations throughout the Tampa Bay area since our opening in July last year.”

Additionally, since the beginning of 2016 alone, some 1,400 people have visited the Foundation’s information center in downtown Clearwater while Foundation staff and volunteers have distributed some 40,000 Truth About Drugs booklets.
The Foundation for a Drug-Free World Florida center features award-winning public service announcements and informational documentaries on each individual commonly abused drug. It also has seminar rooms for drug education lectures and workshops. The Truth About Drugs Education Packages are available in the center at no cost to educators for their use in school and community settings.
