Four Members of 360 Destination Group Florida Earn DMCP Certification From ADMEI

Continuing their focus on delivering the highest level of service, 360 Destination Group Florida strengthens their team.

360 Destination Group Florida announced that four members of their Orlando and South Florida teams have been certified as DMCP professionals by The Association of Destination Management Executives International (ADMEI).

Those receiving the designation were Meryl Trick, Managing Director, South Florida, Katie Webb, Account Executive, South Florida, Leigh Ann Krohmer, Senior Account Manager, Orlando and Jennifer Gruebner, Account Executive, Orlando.

To have five DMCPs on staff indicates the high commitment that 360 Destination Group has to executing best practices for DMC competencies. We commend 360 Destination Group's proactive approach of supporting their staff in pursuing this designation.

Fran Rickenbach, Executive Vice President, ADMEI

“To earn this designation is an accomplishment and we hope it further demonstrates our focus on, and commitment to, the client experience,” said Joe Fijol, Managing Partner, DMCP. “We are honored to be a part of ADMEI and share in their mission to exemplify best practices and always work to raise the bar in our industry.”

The Destination Management Certified Professional (DMCP) designation demonstrates the highest level of knowledge and commitment to the destination management profession.  To earn the DMCP designation, an individual must have years of experience in the field, active involvement in continuing education programs and have passed an exam that covers a body of knowledge of all aspects of destination management.

“To have five DMCPs on staff indicates the high commitment that 360 Destination Group has to executing best practices for DMC competencies,” said Fran Rickenbach, Executive Vice President, Association of Destination Management Executives International. “We commend 360 Destination Group’s proactive approach of supporting their staff in pursuing this designation.”

“Being a DMCP is the gold standard in our industry,” said Meryl Trick, Managing Director and one of the recent recipients of the designation. “Our team is charged with delivering a boutique DMC option for clients looking for customized experiences and a higher level of personalized service.  The professional development through ADMEI helps us to deliver on that purpose.”

Over the last three years, 360 Destination Group has aggressively added Florida locations and staff, establishing a statewide footprint and a dominant presence. They have offices in South Florida, Orlando and most recently, they became the first nationwide DMC to have a local office on Amelia Island.

ADMEI is the only global non-profit association dedicated to increasing the profession and effectiveness of destination management through education, promotion of ethical practices, and availability of information to the meetings, convention, and incentive travel industries, as well as the public.
