Fragrance Creators Introduces COVID-19 Resource Section of Website

The new dedicated section offers daily news updates, tools, and other materials to support fragrance industry members

Fragrance Creators Association today launched a dedicated COVID-19 section of its website, FragranceCreators.org. The new COVID-19 Resource page is a comprehensive collection of the latest updates, rules, guidance, and tools that provide specific and meaningful help for the fragrance supply chain. The resource section goes beyond sharing the association’s advocacy efforts and other general information, and is designed to empower companies as they focus on adapting their business to protect their workers and support the nation in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

As it continues to bring members together for greater impacts through collaborative action, the association is rapidly delivering critical information on a multitude of subjects to help members navigate the rapidly evolving public and worker health, business, and regulatory landscape. The newly launched resource section features links to Fragrance Creators’ daily regulatory updates, news, key policymaker communications, leadership insights, tools, and more.

“These are difficult times and we are proud of our member companies and their dedicated workers, who are empowering businesses to help during the COVID-19 crisis,” said Farah Ahmed, President & CEO, Fragrance Creators. “Our duty as a trade association is to rapidly deliver meaningful support—especially at this time—and the new section of our website is one way we are fulfilling that duty.”

Fragrance Creators responded immediately to the COVID-19 pandemic with decisive action. Following the release of its COVID-19 Action Plan, the association issued a letter to federal, state, and local elected officials and policymakers to protect the manufacture of fragrance, a critical input for cleaning and sanitizing products. It also provided “COVID-19 Essential Business” template letters“COVID-19 Essential Worker” template cards, and “COVID-19 Essential Shipment" template placards, which are intended to educate authorities that the fragrance supply chain is included in the Federal government’s “essential business” designation and, therefore, should be exempt from state/local-mandated COVID-19-related closures.
