From Horses to Kittens
The owner of the popular UK Equestrian website 'The Horse and Pony Directory' has diversified the brand to his other love... cats!
Online, March 11, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Perhaps unsurprisingly called The Cat and Kitten Directory, the new website hopes to follow on from the success of its equestrian sister.
Based on the same popular design, and sporting a striking logo of a similar theme, The Cat and Kitten Directory provides a safe place to advertise kittens for sale, cats for re-homing and feline related businesses and services.
Owner Tim Aston said:
"It was a natural progression really... when im not in the office surrounded by stables and horses, im at home running around after my cat. My love of both animals and web design have come together to produce a brand that im really proud of. Ive been overwhelmed by the response to the Horse and Pony Directory, with such positive comments and constructive criticism coming in from both buyers and sellers. It seemed a good idea to branch out with what I believe is a solid foundation."
It is however a brand that has taken a great of time and effort to establish in such a competitive marketplace, as Tim explains:
"In a way im fortunate that the Horse and Pony Directory was so hard to establish in the market, it has taught me many valuable lessons along the way that will be brought over to The Cat and Kitten Directory. One of the most influential factors of them all was listening to feedback from the visitors which has helped craft the site into an extremely user-friendly affair. Thats not to say weve stopped listening though... new ideas and suggestions are always welcome."
The Cat and Kitten Directory enables visitors to advertise in practically every cat related niche imaginable, from cats for sale to cat sitters and lost cats, and its growing all the time thanks to input from the cat community.
The website also offers free adverts in many of its categories, including Missing Cats:
"I would really the website to become a useful resource for helping to trace missing cats. Our cat went missing last year and we were heartbroken... thankfully we were lucky and he turned up. Anything that could have helped us during that time would have been very welcome."
So there we have it, www.catandkittendirectory.com... a website dedicated to all things feline, run by an animal enthusiast.
