FSW Funding's Entreprenurial Scholarship Enters Sixth Year Running

Scottsdale, AZ, February 18, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Robyn Barrett, an Arizona State University alumna and founder of FSW Funding, launched the firm’s Entrepreneurial Scholarship program in 2009.  The scholarship was established to honor and award an ASU student that embraces and demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit. The company is now requesting students to apply for the 2015/2016 academic year.

The student selected will receive $2,000 paid directly to their school account for the 2015/2016 school year. The monies can be used to help offset expenses for tuition, books and living. It is not necessary for students to display financial need or to be enrolled in a particular major to be an eligible candidate.

The FSW Funding Entrepreneurial Scholarship is open to both undergraduate students (sophomore and above) and graduate students. Applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student at ASU Tempe, West, Polytechnic, or downtown Phoenix campus and possess a minimum GPA of 3.0.

The application requires students to submit a 500-word essay explaining how they embody the entrepreneurial spirit and why it is significant. They must also include a current resume, an unofficial transcript and a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or employer. The deadline for application is June 1, 2015.
