FTR Selected For Integrated Digital Court Recording Solution Project In Massachusetts
FTR has been selected by the Massachusetts Trial Court to provide a fully integrated digital court recording system which will be implemented in over 450 courtrooms across 100 courthouses state-wide.

(FTR) has been selected to provide integrated digital court recording and content management solutions for the Massachusetts Trial Court. The five-year contract, with options out to 11 years, was awarded by the Office of Court Management, which serves as the primary management office for the Massachusetts Trial Court.
The selection was made after a competitive bid process among top digital recording vendors in the industry. FTR has partnered with AVI-SPL, one of the world’s leading AV integrators, to assist in this multi-year implementation in 450 courtrooms across 100 courthouses throughout Massachusetts. The comprehensive agreement includes software licenses, hardware, playback, transcription management services and support.

This innovative, integrated deployment will give key stakeholders a whole new way to access the record. The state-wide project will implement FTR’s leading digital court recording technology as well as the Falcon range, a fully-integrated suite of products which enables real-time record transfer and on-demand ordering, production and distribution of transcripts. Falcon enables efficient and practical connectivity to the digital court operation for consumers of court content -- judges, transcription firms, stenographers, and attorneys.
