HELPING TO SAVE LIVES ONE PAW AT A TIME

Warren Eckstein's Hugs And Kisses Animal Fund will hold its first big fundraising event at the historic Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City. The event will be on August 8th featuring the 40s theme and swing music of the Buzz Maddox Octet, The Swing Dolls, Magician Jon Armstrong, a world famous comedienne plus a special performance by the incredible Roslyn Kind and her fabulous song "At Times Like This" aka The Dog Song. Plus more surprises! "We want animal lovers to come and have a wonderful time and help us raise money for animals in need," says Warren Eckstein.

Before there was a "dog whisperer" or a "pet psychic" there was Warren Eckstein. Affectionately referred to as the "Dr. Phil of Pets," Eckstein has given advice on "The Today Show" or "Live with Regis." His radio program "The Pet Show" is heard locally on KRLA 870AM and KTIE 590AM where every Saturday from 11 AM - 1 PM. Eckstein dispenses expertise on how we can get along better with our pets - or more often how our pets can get along better with us.

Hugs & Kisses Animal Fund was founded in April 2000 by Eckstein in loving memory of his wife, Fay. The non-profit helps hundreds of rescue organizations who are struggling to save animal lives across the US.

Hundreds of small humane organizations across the US are struggling with their effort to save animals because they don't have the fund raising savvy of major public relations people behind them or big budgets to support their efforts. The Hugs and Kisses Animal Fund keeps those mom and pop operations running by providing monetary grants.

Warren is an internationally known pet and animal expert who has dedicated more than 30 years to resolving problems with his Hugs and Kisses method. "The Pet Show with Warren Eckstein" radio program is syndicated in 100+ markets nationwide and into Canada. Warren has worked with more than 40,000 pets including those of many known celebrities - David Letterman, Cheryl Tiegs, and Marvin Hamlish to name a few. He has been a guest on The Tonight Show, Late Night With David Letterman, 20/20 and Dr. Phil. He knows that animal lovers are loving and generous people who are willing to help others in need.
