FWCCA Endorses Rick Dalrymple of Insurance Office of America

On December 7, 2011, the Board of Directors of the Florida Wall & Ceiling Contractors Association announced their exclusive endorsement of Rick Dalrymple of Insurance Office of America as their new Risk Management provider for their association.

This partnership will provide many exciting opportunities to members in providing services to help them become more competitive in their marketplace by reducing their operating costs and business risk, and indirectly increasing their revenue.

Their services go beyond what typical insurance organizations provide such as training, certification programs, and management tools designed to increase profitability.

A Learning Management System is being provided members who need turn key training on four (4) major disciplines: OSHA Compliance, HR Compliance, Wellness and Safety Training. Learning Management Systems enable members to keep track of any web based training that is completed by their employees, in addition to any "live" training that is conducted for specialty training.

At a time when profit margins are being squeezed in the construction industry, being able to reduce the number and size insurance claims will increase profitability. A claims management tools is available that help keeps insurance carriers on task so activities don't fall through the cracks that cost money.

Members of the association insurance program are provided a Risk Assessment known as the "4P" process which takes companies through a holistic operational review of their policy and procedures. The process includes the following steps: #1 - Pre-Hire #2 - Post-Offer #3 Pre-Claim and #4 Post-Claim.

In the Pre-Hire step, company's HR and hiring processes are evaluated. Statistics show and the cost of Workers Compensation claims can be attributed to the quality of the employees that are hired.

In the Post-Offer step, companies are evaluated on their use of Medical Health questionnaires and Conditional Offer of Employment letters. Their use will insulate companies from lost profits from having claims paid that could have been denied due to applicant fraud.

In the Pre-Claim step, a review of policies and procedures is conducted to insure that "Best Practices" are being done.

In the Post-Claim step, check lists are provided that keep carriers on task so claim activities don't fall through the cracks that can cost lost profits.
