Wax Digital, a UK-based eProcurement software specialist has announced it has been awarded a place on the G-Cloud 5 Framework by Crown Commercial Service, the Government's cloud-services procurement framework.

Public sector organisations can now turn to Wax Digital web3 for eSourcing, Contract Management, Purchase-to-Pay and Source-to-Pay via CloudStore, the online marketplace for the G-Cloud framework.

Healthcare and education providers and government departments are all now required to evaluate cloud-based solutions when procuring IT. Purchasing an online-based service via the G-Cloud framework will collectively help the public sector to reduce costs by buying only the computing resource it needs, make savings on maintenance and physical storage and avoid lengthy contracts.
Wax Digital has a decade's experience working with the public sector and its web3 spend management solution is already helping many organisations optimise their purchasing and invoicing processes, improve visibility on organisational spend and achieve best value when working with suppliers. Wax has also achieved ISO 9001 status and is Sarbanes Oxley compliant thereby offering the public sector the quality assurances it needs when working with a technology provider.

Paul Ellis, managing director, Wax Digital said: "We are delighted to have been selected to join the G-Cloud 5 Framework so that we can help the Government achieve its 'cloud first' objective by delivering a best-in-class cloud-based eProcurement system to the public sector.
"Our G-Cloud 5 status means that many more public sector organisations can now benefit from the processing and cost efficiencies that web3 enables.

"web3 has been developed to be intuitive with the user at the forefront and is a secure, easy-to-use purchasing platform fully supported by the best practice methodologies required by any organisation in the public sector."

Wax Digital's customers in the public sector include NHS Trusts, Housing Associations, Universities and the entire State of Jersey. It also works with a host of organisations in the not-for-profit sector including Guide Dogs for the Blind, WWF and health and social care organisation Turning Point.
