Gamma Real Estate Provides $82.75-Million Financing for Massive Wade Park Development in Frisco, Texas

New York, NY, January 30, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Gamma Real Estate has closed on $82.75 million of financing to help develop the 175-acre Wade Park mixed-use project along the Dallas North Tollway in Frisco, Texas, a rapidly growing northern suburb within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Wade Park will be a major part of Frisco’s ambitious “$5-Billion-Mile” economic development program, totaling some 550 acres of office, retail, residential and hospitality development, all of which is expected to generate more than 70,000 new jobs in the next few years.

Named after its former owners, the prominent Wade family, Wade Park is a project of Atlanta-based Thomas Land & Development Co., which is active throughout the Southeast. The development will comprise one million square feet of retail space, up to six million square feet of office space, 2,800 luxury apartments, and two hotels.   

Whole Foods has broken ground for an anchor position at Wade Park, heading a long list of signed retail tenants. Further construction activity is awaiting installation of access roads and utilities, as required by local law. Wade Park is projected to involve more than $2 billion of investment when completed.
