Gary Newberry Kicks Off 2010 Campaign Tour
Gary Newberry, conservative Republican candidate for Florida House District 66, kicked off his 2010 campaign tour Thursday, January 14th with full force.
Online, January 19, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Gary Newberry, conservative Republican candidate for Florida House District 66, kicked off his 2010 campaign tour Thursday, January 14th with full force.
The day began with a one hour, live, on-air interview on WWTK 730 Radio, with Barry Foster, in Sebring.
Following that interview, Gary met with a reporter from the Tampa Tribune/Highlands Today for a newspaper interview. After a lengthy exchange, Gary attended the monthly meeting of the Highlands County Citizens for Better Government, at the Inn on the Lakes.
At the conclusion of the Citizens for Better Government luncheon, Gary moved on to meet with a reporter from the News-Sun.
With three interviews and a luncheon under his belt, the day was not yet over. Gary then returned to Winter Haven to speak before the Polk County Chapter of the American Party of Florida and then to attend a fundraising benefit for the Winter Haven Humane Society and Tanner's Restaurant.
It was a busy day for Gary Newberry, candidate for Florida House District 66 and a terrific kickoff to the 2010 campaign season,
Florida House District 66 encompasses portions of Highlands County, Frostproof, Lake Wales, Winter, Haven, Lakeland, Mulberry, Bartow, Fort Meade and all of Hardee County.
Gary Newberry will be speaking before the Highlands County League of Voters Thursday, January 21, at Hommer's Restaurant in Sebring, Florida.
