Gazeley Provides High Quality Warehousing Space in North China

Online, April 27, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Gazeley, a leading global developer of high quality affordable logistics space today announced the launch of a leasing campaign for the 1st phase the recently completed Beichen, Tianjin, high grade warehousing project.

The initial phase, which provides 24,000 square meters of space, is the first of four buildings on the site. Preparation for development of the second phase, involving an additional 60,000 square meters, is well advanced and a further announcement on the launching of this next phase is expected shortly. This project provides much sought after high quality warehousing space in North China, where demand is fast outpacing supply.

Customers for this project are expected to come from the fast growing retail, e-commerce and automotive sectors, which require regional distribution centre to better serve the local market.
The Beichen project is located adjacent to Walmart's 43,000-square meter Northern China Distribution Centre, which Gazeley successfully delivered in 2007. Both facilities are located in the Beichen Hi-Tech Industrial Park, Binhai New Development Area in Tianjin municipality, an area chosen by Gazeley and Walmart for its strategic location and the maturity of the region's transportation and logistics infrastructure.
