GDHIF 3 Still Opens, Register A Voucher Immediately

Some of the below paperwork is needed to be filled before applying for cash back voucher of approved energy-efficient measure.

• Energy performance certificate (EPC) or Green Deal advice report (GDAR) which is done in past two years and contains a suggested measure which is mentioned in approved home-improvement list. The refund is available only after successful voucher application.
• A quote for every energy-efficient measure and do compare quotes to check for the best deal.
• Moreover if the customer is a landlord then need to prove ownership by providing the following documents:

1. Land Registry certificate which demonstrates that a customer is the owner of the relevant residential property/properties
2. A scanned copy of a signed and dated statement or letter from the solicitor explaining that a customer is the owner of the relevant residential property/properties
3. Stamp Duty Land Taxation Return (HMRC certificate) which demonstrates that a customer is the owner of the relevant residential property.

• A quote must include information:

1. Name of customer
2. Address of property which is to be improved
3. Name of green deal provider or installer which will be completing work
4. The provider company or installer needs to be registered to carry out work under GDHIF 3.
5. On the quote, the same name of a company by which it is registered need to be mentioned
6. On the quote, a detail information of cost needs to be mentioned
7. Total estimated cost need for each measure installation
8. VAT amount if applicable
9. The refund amount or discount applicable

• The eligibility criteria for cash back against registered voucher

1. It will be valid only for six month from the date of registration
2. It will be redeemed only after complete installation of mentioned measure
3. The voucher is valid only for the same address which is mentioned in an application form
4. The payment will be deposited to the bank account with the same name of a customer and already mentioned at the time of application.
5. If any problem in bank account or was opened but not operated by the customer, then it will be payable via cheque.
