Gen Con Film Festival Heralds the Majesty of Unicorn City - Bestows Honors for Best Film

Online, August 21, 2011 (Newswire.com) - "And the winner for Best Feature Film goes to, Unicorn City!" Those were the words spoken recently at the Gen Con Indy Film Festival. The award for "Best Feature Film" is the highest and most coveted honor offered by Gen Con Film Festival Judges and though there be many who seek it, this year the award has been obtained by Unicorn City.

Gen Con, the largest and most prominent annual gaming convention in North America and has been called the world's Gaming Mecca and features games of all types. Gen Con Attendees (many of whom don costumes of their favorite game characters) are given the opportunity to engage in a variety of tournament play and interactive game sessions making it an exciting event especially for those who enjoy LARPing.

The Gen Con Film Festival offers an opportunity for independent film makers from within the gaming community to submit their films for judging and public screening. Awards are given by a panel of judges made up of Gen Con organizers and staff.

Unicorn City became an instant hit among both Gen Con attendees and organizers garnering praise from Gen Con film festival judges and rival film festival contestants alike.
