Gen Y Hub Members Launch Marketing Bootcamp

From the experts of Polka Dot Coaching and The Marketing Optimist, comes a workshop designed to bring your business up to Millennial speed.

Gen Y Hub members, Donna Queza and Nailah Blades, will begin their new series, The Launch Sequence , on June 12th in Long Beach, CA. The duo will take students through a five-week course that establishes a stronger business presence by working on basic marketing mechanics and materials. Designed to break down company goals and values, students will gain a deeper understanding of their company vision in the first week. Participants will walk away with a stronger mission statement, bundle packages for products and services, price structure, and competitor analysis.

During Week 2, Queza and Blades will help students break down their demographics and learn how to market to their target audience. In addition to identifying segments, students will discuss marketing strategies, company strengths and weaknesses, the power of partnerships, and how to better position the company to become an industry expert. Engagers of the Week 2 workshop will leave with a clearer image of their prospective clientele, a list of places to attract consumers, a chart of associating audiences on specific social networks, and three pitch points to sell the company to media outlets.

Focusing on business activities in Week 3, the marketing coaching team will guide students through streamlining business functions. This entails creating a compelling social media presence and optimizing the company for search engines, branding messages for all potential consumer outlets, and utilizing public relation tactics. Week 3 also helps structure everyday tasks and reduce overwhelming workflow to maximize efficiency. Students will have comprehensive training to schedule Twitter updates, be given a calendar to organize daily tasks and interactions, receive a news release template and media pitch guides, and set up google alerts to learn what others are saying about the company.

Queza and Blades help small businesses and Millennial professionals effectively plan and structure task-oriented goals that will strategically keep production motivated. Upon registration for The Launch Sequence, Gen Y Hub members will receive an exclusive free 2-hr consultation with both Queza and Blades to discuss and focus on business needs prior to the workshop.

Britt Hysen, Gen Y Hub co-founder, encourages her Millennial peers and members to participate in this workshop to further their career desires and launch their businesses to the next level. "We are an amazing group of individuals burdened by a failing economy and exorbitant student debt," Hysen said, "but with the right tools and information, we have the power to unite as an enterprising community."
