Generations Bank to Open Bentonville Office, Construction to Begin Next Year

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., August 22, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Generations Bank, an Arkansas community bank with nine full-service locations throughout the state, is planning the development of a future office location in Bentonville. Construction of the new office is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2019 and will be located on Southwest I Street near the Bentonville Community Center.

Generations Bank purchased the 2.13-acre plot in July and is expected to occupy a third of the building, with the remaining space available for lease.

“We felt that we needed a presence in Bentonville,” said Jon Harrell, chairman of the board, as quoted in a recent article published by the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal. “It’s part of our long-term strategy to be a player in Northwest Arkansas. The I Street corridor is attractive and appeared to be a good spot.” Harrell represents the fifth generation of the Harrell family to lead Generations Bank.
