GeoMark Research Announces Leadership Changes
HOUSTON, January 5, 2021 (Newswire.com) - GeoMark Research today announced that Stephen Brown will step down after nearly 30 years with the company as President and co-founder. The company has selected Ethan Brown to succeed Brown, as President. Brown will continue on with the company in various advisory roles and will join the company’s Board of Directors, effective Jan. 4.
Ethan has been with GeoMark more than eight years, joining the company in 2013 as Database Manager where he quickly helped the company revamp RFDbase.com, making significant contributions to both the database and its applications.
Additionally, Alex Zumberge will be appointed to Executive Vice President, Operations. In this role, Zumberge will have oversight and responsibility for all technical direction of the company, laboratory operations, and final data quality. Alex began his career at GeoMark in 2011 and has served in roles of increasing responsibility within the laboratory.
John Zumberge, former Vice President and co-founder, will continue with the company as a Geochemical Advisor and will join the Board of Directors.
These changes are effective Jan. 4, 2020.
