Online, October 2, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Greeting Fantasy Football Fans, and welcome to Week 4 of the NFL Football Season. A lot to cover and not too much time to do it, so let's dive into right into.
This week, we have the owners of the Award Winning Sacramento Moving sensation, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, Mark Snyir and Chad Arnold to help us decide on who to sit and who to start.
To start, we have Dallas, Minnesota, Kansas City and Tampa Bay on Byes this week. So make sure you pay attention to your lineup.
First to the Quarterbacks.
I say start Matt Ryan. Mike Singletary has his hands full. He's 0 and 3, on the road, and they will on the road and and worried about the run game which will leave Ryan the opportunity to let it fly.
Start Kyle Orton. He doesn't seem to be getting teh respect he deserves and Denver is a pass first team. Chances are, he isn' even owned in your league. if not and you need a a backup, grab him.
Joe Flacco should be sat on your bench this week. Did you see what the Steelers have done to the three times they have played so far (Atlanta, Tennessee and Tampa Bay). Pittsburgh is on a tear and sitting Flacco would be a wise decision.
Running Backs
I'm riding high on the Peyton Hillis Train. He played smashmouth football against the Ravens. So why bench him against the Ravens?
Kenneth Darby. S-Jax probably is out this Sunday. If so, Darby will see a bulk of the carries. So you Jackson owners that got Darby off the waiver wire, you should be fine.
Justin Forsett. Going up against the Rams this week, and would never make my start 'em list, excpet that last year in week 12, he torched the Rams. My sleeper pick for teams that need help this week.
Clinton Portis is playing the Eagles and has some competition from Ryan Totain. I would take a pass on Portis this week and watch this situation closely for the next few weeks.
Ryan Mathews is supposed to be playing but may or may not be limited. Who cares? The Charges are having problems and with Phillip Rivers throwing for 455 yards last week with Darren Sproles not even getting much attention, I would stay away from any of 3 running backs in San Diego.
Wide Receiver
This is the week that Chad Ochocinco owners have been waiting for. He will give you a stellar week.
Steve Smith from the Giants also deseves attention to start if you've been sitting him after his last week's performance.
And I would sit Steve Smith from the Panthers. I don't trust Clausen throwing to him.
Tight Ends
Any Detroit TE. They both are doing what it takes. Although Scheffler had the better of the week of the two, I think Pettigrew will the better play this week at Green Bay.
And Sit Owen Daniels. I have him on my team. Each week I think he's going to do something and bust out. And last 3 weeks...nothing. This week, he has sat out of practice and has been limited. I'm going to sit him.
Kickers.
Jeff Reed. Steelers and Ravens games are always hard fought battles. May not be many chances to score touchdowns for either team. Steelers will end up on top because of the kicking of Jeff Reed.
Sit the Saints Kickers. They just signed Carney, have Hartkey still on their roster. What can I say, I would stay away from this.
Defense
Of course, start the Steelers. Even if they are going against the Ravens. Yeah, I am biased, I'm from Pittsburgh. Can you blame me though? They are beating up offenses up and down the field and making Steeler fans go, "Ben Who"?
Houston looks like a nice start against Oakland. But I don't like it. I would sit Houston. Oakland is slowoly coming around and they are rallying behind Bruce Gradkowski, who doesn't make the kind of mistakes that Russell made.
Well, there you have it. Our start 'em and sit 'em picks for week 4 of the NFL.
