Get Small Engine Certified Online

ASERO is the Association for Small Engine Repair & Operation. Our primary services include the certification of individuals and companies with regards to dealerships, repair facilities, sales training, operator training, and technician training.

The Association for Small Engine Repair & Operation (ASERO) has now made this possible with the Basic Small Engine Technician course on their Online Learning System (OLS), available right from their website at www.asero.org for less than fifty dollars ($50). It's really quite easy. When you sign up, there's only a one-time payment of $24.99 for the yearly membership with ASERO, and then just an additional one-time payment of $24.99 for the course. The course is immediately available to you right after you sign up, and everything can be done online!

It doesn't matter whether you are on the East Coast, in the Midwest, or on the West Coast, even Canada or Mexico, you can take the course because it's available to you right online. While the course is designed to be completed in 4 weeks, you really can work at your own pace. If you've got more time on your hands, maybe you can do it in a few days to a week. If you'd rather pace yourself, you can always stretch it out over 8 weeks or longer if you want.

This isn't just a course for technicians or professionals either. ASERO is even great for homeowners, or people who are just interested in learning more about small engines. Many homeowners have experienced a failure of their power equipment at one time or another, whether it's a snow blower, a lawnmower or a weed wacker, or even hedge trimmers. It's expensive to get it fixed, and it's even more expensive to purchase a new one. Well, when you take the course with ASERO, you'll have a better understanding of what could be wrong with your equipment, and save a lot of money by being able to fix it yourself. The course will pay for itself many times over for sure!

There have been a few people that have questioned whether or not it's ideal because you aren't physically working with an engine as you are taking the course, but that is not necessarily true. If you've got a rusty old weed wacker or lawnmower lying around that's broken or not working, use it for reference and practice while you are taking the course if you like. You never know, you might be able to fix it yourself! Otherwise, you'll be learning mainly by subject matter, pictures and videos. However, most people don't have the time to take a college course or school course. Even if they did, most really wouldn't want to spend the hundreds of dollars on a course just to learn a few things about engines? That's not cost effective in the eyes of ASERO, which is why the course is available and affordable to anyone!
