Get steamy in the kitchen with Samsung's latest microwave oven
Samsung Electronics Australia has launched the latest addition to its microwave range in a bid to help busy consumers save time in the kitchen. Having little time to cook doesn't mean you have to go hungry or eat unhealthily - packed with the lat
Online, November 16, 2009 (Newswire.com) - Sydney, Australia, 16 November 2009, - The MW9114ST microwave's steam cook function offers a whole host of cooking benefits, including working efficiently so your food only absorbs the moisture it requires to cook while retaining vital vitamins, nutrients, flavour, colour and texture.
Choose from five auto steam cook options depending on your culinary preference, this latest model is also supported by Samsung's unique Triple Distribution System (TDS) technology. By spreading microwaves wider and more consistently across food, the new 32L capacity microwave makes sure food is cooked evenly and thoroughly producing a ready to eat dish.
Gone are the days of working out cooking time for the weight and quantity of your food. The MW9114ST has an in built humidity sensor that does the work for you. The sensor detects humidity in the microwave and adjusts the overall cooking time automatically so that food is cooked or warmed to the optimum temperature.
An auto defrost function has also been designed to thaw food quickly and easily. Simply by setting the weight of the food and choosing one of the five auto defrost settings, the microwave will automatically set the defrosting time, power level and standing time to deliver the results you're looking for.
"Steam cooking is becoming an increasingly popular method of cooking due to its health benefits," said Kalina Murgovski, Samsung Product Manager, White Goods. "By combining automated steam cooking in a microwave, the MW9114ST accommodates the needs of time poor consumers who want to cook quickly but also to retain the taste and goodness of their food."
Also launching in October 2009 is the Samsung MW9114W microwave which features an in built humidity sensor, TDS technology and an auto cook and auto defrost menu. Both the white MW9114W and the stainless steel MW9114ST microwave ovens are available at all leading Australian electrical retailers for RRP $199 and RRP $259 respectively.
