Ghost Hunters To Appear in Westfield on November 28 to Spotlight Tourette Syndrome
Online, November 11, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Maybe you've never met a ghost, but chances are, you've encountered someone with Tourette Syndrome.
According to the Centers for Disease Control, as many as 1 in 100 individuals show signs of TS- a neurological disorder characterized by motor or vocal movements known as tics. Chances are you've gone to school or work with someone with Tourette Syndrome.
Dave Tango, star of SyFy's hit Ghost Hunters has TS. His father, Bruce, is hosting the 4th Annual Dinner and Show to Benefit the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome on Sunday, November 28th in Westfield.
The Tangos will be there with fellow paranormal investigators from Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters Academy Steve Gonzalves, Kris Williams, Amy Bruni and Adam Berry. The group will discuss their encounters on the show and answer audience questions- a special opportunity for fans of the show and amateur investigators.
This member-initiated fundraiser will also feature a bluegrass performance from New Jersey's own Union Forge, the smooth sounds of A Capella Pops a 35-member group of voices unlike any you've heard before and Kristen Sellers of VH1 and MTV.
