"Ghost Whisperer"/Author Available For Halloween Interviews
Online, October 24, 2011 (Newswire.com) - BALTIMORE/WASHINGTON, D.C. - There is a lot more to ghosts than Halloween, and a local medium is available for interviews this season.
Media have the opportunity to talk with a real-life "Ghost Whisperer," who has helped comfort people at wakes, including his own family after his father passed away.
Rob Gutro authored the book "Ghosts and Spirits: Insights from a Medium," published by Virtualbookworm, and available in Barnes and Noble stores and Amazon.com as a paperback or E-book on Kindle or NOOK. The book provides some scientific reasons on the how and why of ghosts, as Gutro is also a scientist.
The author has had encounters throughout the Washington and Baltimore areas and around the U.S. in historic houses, residences, and on and off ghost walks. Gutro realized he had the ability as a teenager when his grandfather materialized in front of him, six months after his passing. He lived in a haunted house while attending college in Kentucky.
"The purpose of the book is to educate people about what happens after their loved ones pass," Gutro said.
The author and the book have appeared in the Washington Post, MSNBC, and a number of other news outlets.
To arrange an interview, contact Rob Gutro at 443-858-1779, or by email at [email protected].
