Gift Republic Gains Second Industry Plaudit For The Stamp Collection

Online, July 28, 2010 (Newswire.com) - A Gift Republic product range on the theme of British postage stamps has gained its second prestigious industry recognition of the summer.

The Stamp Collection - a range of mugs, stationery and greeting cards - is a finalist at the Licensing Awards just two months after it was shortlisted for an accolade at the Gift of the Year Awards.

Officially licensed by Royal Mail and the British Postal Museum & Archive, the quality range evokes a sense of regal heritage and classic British design.

The Stamp Collection is in the running for Best Licensed Brand Range at the Licensing Awards which this year attracted a record-breaking field of more than 5,000 product entries from large multi-national licensees to small niche players.

The success follows The Stamp Collection's shortlisting in the Kitchen and Dining category at the Gift of the Year Awards in May, an excellent indicator of what will be popular Christmas gifts.

The range is being extended in the autumn to include kitchenware items such as aprons, tea towels and oven gloves.

This year's awards take place at the Lancaster London Hotel on Thursday September 9.
