Online, January 10, 2011 (Newswire.com) - The City Council of Girona, one of the most important in Spain, which serves more than 94,000 citizens, has 35 offices and more than 800 employees, has chosen Polymita BPM platform to improve and increase the quality of their Services to the community.
Polymita solution will support the improvement of the quality of the Service to Citizens through the management and automation of Citizen Attention Service and Claims and for the Tax Management processes.
The main challenge of the project for the City Council Technology Information Services is to optimize its internal resources and increase flexibility and speed at the systems level, in replacement, creation and delivery of applications to the various departments of City Council. The aim of the IT Service is to provide business users with a set of tools to manage and optimize their processes, thus providing the necessary flexibility to adapt their processes to the evolving demands in a much faster easier and efficient way.
Polymita, a world leader in software and BPM (Business Process Management), has been selected by its ability to complete automation of business process applications, the autonomy and independence offered by the technology provider, for its integration with systems and databases available at the City Council and other technologies associated with their Case Management applications, for its minimum learning curve (development and use by the end user) and always with the ultimate goal of providing a quick and efficient response to other departments.
According Jacint Paredes, the Girona City Council's Chief of Information Systems, "We selected Polymita for its flexibility and the autonomy it offers, because with the same resources we are now able to offer more quality services to citizens and other departments of the City Council. The goal is to train them so that each Department can manage, modify and automate their own processes"
