Online, April 19, 2010 (Newswire.com) - God shows His Love toward us,The Church, or as the greeks would call us his Ekklesia by Giving us a New Birth. It is the first birth or the birth from the flesh that prevents any individual from pleasing God. The scriptures plainly tells us that the man born of the flesh cannot please God.
As a minister for God and his Gospel toward the Ekklesia I seek to give clear biblical interpretation to my audience so as to combat the many errors, lies and deceptions that are being cloaked with the words of Christ. One out of the many falsehoods that is being told concerns the process of the new birth. The new birth is just one of the many ways that God exhibits his love towards his Church or his ekklesia. Let me explain why I use the term Ekklesia along with the Church.
Ekklesia is the greek word for Church but it means to be called out, to be called out from something. We, the Church have been called out of darkness into his marvelous light as said by Paul in Ac 26:18. This calling out of darkness is part of the new birth experience. God calls us out from darkness not we call out to him. We are in darkness before we are called and cannot see and so therefore we need someone to come and get us out of darkness. This is why Jesus says in Jn 3:19 men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil neither cometh they to the light, lest their deeds should be reproved and again in Jn 12:35 he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goweth - these verses alone declare mans utter inability to make a conscience decision towards God concerning his salvation. Since the Ekklesia are the sheep of God it is important that they have good pasture to graze on. Since there will be an infants amidst the church is important that they are fed with milk and also the mature amongst the church are fed with meat in accordance with the rules Scripture. There is an abundance of bad food being grazed on by the sheep and it is the duty of the minister to make sure good food is available and that the sheep are protected from the hirelings and the wolves. Those that intentionally preach lies care not for the sheep and are only concerned about themselves and there well being. As a people called out to serve God we have to be able to perceive this truth and to see the love of God in this sovereign act of grace and mercy towards us. This is his sole prerogative to decide who will and want be saved and this counsel belongs to him and him alone and so as his people we need to say ye and amen.
