GoFISHn and GAFF Magazine Announce "Fish Florida Week" Offering One-Year Free Service on GoFISHn for any Florida Fishing Business

Two fishing media companies partner to promote saltwater and freshwater angling and in the Sunshine State

GoFISHn, the Web's fastest growing fishing site, and GAFF, one of Florida's premier fishing magazines and Web sites, are joining forces online for Fish Florida Week, a special co-production online to promote far and wide that fishing in Florida is as spectacular as ever, no matter the oil disaster off the gulf coast.

"Florida's well deserved reputation as one of the world's greatest fresh and saltwater fishing destinations has taken an undeserved hit," said Ned Desmond, founder of GoFISHn. "The fact is Florida's great saltwater fisheries have barely been touched, and its lakes and rivers are as wonderful as ever."

"During Fish Florida Week we'll work with GAFF's editors and our reach daily audience of more than 50,000 anglers worldwide to spread the word that the Sunshine State's charter skippers, guides, bait & tackle shops and marinas are ready, willing and able and able to show anglers a great time on the water," continued Desmond.

GAFF Magazine the "premier coastal lifestyle, angling and destination publication," will draw on its deep knowledge of Florida fishing to showcase the best fishing, the most interesting destinations and species, the best guides and skippers, and more.

"Florida fishing is not just fishing the Gulf, and a vast majority of the Florida Gulf is still great fishing," says Captain Chuck Simpson, president of GAFF Magazine. "There's so many great freshwater and inshore opportunities, the whole Atlantic coast and the vast majority of the Gulf, and we're looking forward to sharing these great resources and the people that enjoy them and make their living off of fishing in Florida."

Fish Florida Week will feature informational materials, interviews, videos, Q&A, quizzes, and special offers, and it kicks off Monday, June 21. The programming will appear on www.GoFISHn.com, www.facebook.com/gofishn, and www.GAFFlife.com.

In a special promotion GoFISHn will offer FREE of charge a one-year business membership (a $300 value) to Florida fishing businesses that contact GoFISHn next week. "We know a lot of fishing businesses in Florida are feeling the pinch right now, " said GoFISHn's Desmond, "and we believe 100 percent that online marketing is a lot more effective and a lot less expensive with GoFISHn's help. So we'll offer our services free for a year to prove the point." Interested parties may contact GoFISHn at [email protected].

GAFF Magazine will be holding a special sweepstakes for all those who sign-up for a free digital edition of the magazine during the week (www.GetGAFF.com), as well as other promotions as a part of Fish Florida Week.
