GoGet Secure Allies With Non Profit to Advocate for Web Security

The HTTP to HTTPS migration service GoGet Secure will be donating a portion of project revenue to OWASP, a leading software security nonprofit organization.

GoGet Secure, a leading HTTPS migration service, has allied with one of the premier web security non-profit organizations in the world to empower a more secure and stable online environment.

The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) is a 501(c)(3) worldwide not-for-profit charitable organization focused on improving the security of software and educating the public. OWASP’s expansive online community works to provide an unbiased, visible platform for software security information. With the resources of their combined network, OWASP is at the forefront of establishing a more informed online user base.

GoGet Secure, powered by the full-service digital marketing agency Orpical Group, is dedicated to empowering the evolution of the online community through better website security. As part of their support, Orpical Group will be donating 2.5% of all GoGet Secure HTTPS migration projects to OWASP.

“We wholly and emphatically support OWASP’s mission,” Edward DuCoin, CEO of Orpical Group, said. “GoGet Secure is entirely focused on creating a safer digital environment for website users and owners alike.”

GoGet Secure’s service provides a fully-managed SSL Certificate Installation and HTTP to HTTPS conversion process for business’ websites. As Google Chrome prepares for a massive shift in security policy this summer, GoGet Secure has become a premier name in web security solutions. On July 24, with the release of Chrome 68, Google is expected to begin marking all HTTP websites as “Not Secure” in the address bar, a change which will likely lead to massive bounce rate increases and a serious potential for lost sales.

“GoGet Secure isn’t about a one-off sale; it’s a first step toward educating business owners on how to create whole-site security,” Stefan Schulz, COO of Orpical Group, said. “That’s why when we came across OWASP, we knew we had to support them in any way we can. Their mission is too important to not contribute.”
