Golden Valley Golf And Country Club Refreshes Its Image For The New Year
Minnesota's Historic Country Club Implements New Communication Plan Geared toward Brides and Event Planners
Online, January 3, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Golden Valley Golf and Country Club (http://www.gvgcc.com), a prestigious country club in the Twin Cities, announced today the launch of its new marketing communication plan for 2011, which includes an enhanced website at www.gvgcc.com. The club embarked on this six-month project in June 2010 with the intent to better communicate the availability of its beautifully decorated and state-of-the-art event spaces to the general public, and to better serve members, brides and event planners.
Launched by the board of directors and the newly appointed executive director of catering, Tom Rubenstein, who was hired in April 2010 to facilitate these changes, this new marketing plan will serve to disprove the notion that Golden Valley Golf and Country Club is only open to members. "The club has always welcomed non-members to hold events here, but that wasn't evident on our former website or in our marketing materials," says Rubenstein. "This enhanced website gives brides and event planners the ability to visualize our ballroom and event spaces via 360-degree virtual tours, download comprehensive banquet menus and view extensive photo galleries of previous events."
Additional enhancements to Golden Valley Golf and Country Club's new marketing plan include social media participation, a monthly event planner e-newsletter and improved communication with club members.
