Google Caffeine In New Google Indexing System

Caffeine had already gone live, and is now being used in all Google searches. So what is the difference between the old indexing system and the Google Caffeine?

Some of the changes that have happened to Google recently. Not too long ago Google launched a new search Index / Algorithm called "Google Caffeine". (Actually, Google had already started in it's testing since August 2009) Google Caffeine is being rolled out and all sorts of interesting things are happening

The Google Caffeine update is allowing for quicker indexing of site, as the whole aim of Google Caffeine is to show the latest search results (fresh content). So this again stresses the important of using unique content on your websites.

The second thing that the update has done for us reduce our time in link building, for all our tests, research and reading we have found that the new algorithm puts more emphasis on inbound links to your home page rather than inner pages. So in a nutshell you now only need to create backlinks to your homepage and Google will see these links as going to your inner pages as well, makes life alot simpler.

The old index had several layers, some of which were refreshed at a faster rate than others; the main layer would update every couple of weeks. To refresh a layer of the old index, the entire web would be analyzed, meaning that there was a significant delay between when a page being found and made it available to internet users.
The New System

With Caffeine, the web is analyzed in small portions and updates into Google search index on a continuous basis, globally. When a new page is found or new information on existing pages, Caffeine can add these straight to the index. That means Google users can find fresher information than ever before-no matter when or where it was published.

Caffeine had already gone live in the last few days, and is now being used in all Google searches. If you're just a regular internet-trolling search-engine user, this means that you may start seeing different search results-hopefully more up-to-date, relevant news stories and blog posts.

If you're a business user, or if you otherwise utilize search engine optimization (SEO) techniques in order to get your pages indexed and ranked by Google, however, Caffeine may affect you (at the moment, it's unclear exactly how it will affect you). After all, something that affects search engine results will certainly affect the practice of SEO.
