Gorilla Life Chlorophyll drink unveils its new packaging this week as well as announces a new partnership. The raw, green tonic made from concentrated alfalfa debuts the new bottles and labels, which allow for longer shelf life, as it sets to expand its distribution across the United States.  Gorilla Life and UNFI, the largest distributor of natural, organic and specialty foods, are working together to provide Gorilla Life Products to more grocery store retailers.

“We are thoroughly excited to continue our journey with the distribution support of UNFI and share the benefits of Gorilla Life with so many more people and this new packaging gets us one step closer to that goal,” says Kika Keith, Gorilla Life Founder and CEO. “When we started in Whole Foods Market in 2008, no one knew the true benefits chlorophyll could have for the body.  As a tremendous source of antioxidants, chlorophyll helps neutralize free radicals in the body that can harm healthy cells. It’s not just a drink; it’s a way of life.”

As the first chlorophyll-based beverage on the market, Gorilla Life has been providing oxygenation, cleansing and fortification to those who have been drinking it over the past eight years. The overall health of the Gorilla Life consumer is at the forefront of Gorilla Life, and its ingredients help to reduce toxins.

Gorilla Life has an array of unique flavors: The most popular is unsweetened with zero calories and zero sugars; fortified with Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Calcium, and Iron.  The other flavors are sweetened using agave and honey, with the same Vitamin fortification as unsweetened.

Gorilla Life’s new bottle labels wrap the entire bottle, preventing direct sunlight from interacting with the ingredients.

ABOUT GORILLA LIFE
Gorilla Life began in 2008 in Los Angeles, California. CEO and Founder Kika Keith’s mother created a recipe for Keith’s daughter who suffered from chronic asthma. After seeing her daughter’s results, Keith turned the recipe into a fundraising venture. With more than 300% of children’s daily vegetable allowance in one drink, a healthy lifestyle drink was born.  Gorilla Life is sold in natural food stores, Whole Foods Market stores and independent grocery retailers.
