GQueues for Android Now Available on Google Play
Online, February 1, 2013 (Newswire.com) - GQueues, a full-featured task manager and top productivity app in the Google Apps Marketplace, launched its first ever Android™ app today on Google Play™. The app is now available for phones and tablets running Android 2.2+ as part of the yearly $25 subscription. New users can try out the app with a two-week free trial.
The GQueues app for Android provides fast background syncing, voice input to create tasks and the option of creating home screen shortcuts to a subscriber's most-used queues. Initial feedback from beta testers revealed voice input as one of the most popular features. Users can speak tasks on the go and let GQueues parse out dates, times and reminders thanks to its powerful Quick Add Syntax.
Unlike some task management mobile apps, GQueues tasks are not stuck on a user's phone. All data is encrypted and securely synced over SSL to his/her GQueues account in the cloud where it's accessible from any web browser. Tasks are also automatically synced to Google Calendar creating a seamless system in which all information is accessible across multiple interfaces. Other distinguishing features include repeating tasks, flexible tagging and the ability to assign tasks to others.
"The Android app takes the GQueues product to a whole new level. Adding a robust native app to its existing top-notch feature set makes GQueues an ideal choice for everyone with a to-do list. The world now works from their mobile devices and GQueues for Android is there to help you stay organized," says founder Cameron Henneke.
