Grasp Technologies' Secure Connect Encryption Engine Sets New Industry Standard in PCI Compliance
Grasp Technologies announces the release of a new encryption engine for Secure Connect that sets new industry standard in PCI Compliance. Its global data consolidation solution now offers over 500 routines to automatically manage data.
San Diego, CA, July 20, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Grasp Technologies, the leading provider of data management and visualization solutions for the travel and expense management industry, announces the release of the latest version of its global data consolidation engine, Secure Connect.
Grasp’s new encryption engine within the Secure Connect ecosystem takes PCI compliance to the next level by encrypting and masking elements based on certain fields or across an entire data set. It can detect a credit card number in a non-credit card field such as a UDID or remarks field and automatically encrypt or mask it adding another layer of protection.
"With increasingly stringent data privacy and security laws, it is imperative for us to stay as far ahead of things as possible and for our next version of the Secure Connect suite, we wanted to develop an encryption engine robust enough to keep our clients on the right side of these regulations and to ensure the safety of their data."
Erik Mueller, President and CEO of Grasp Technologies.

Secure Connect now includes new routines to dynamically update and enrich data at the data source, fully automated and over the web. This allows Grasp to push down data updates, cleansing, or enrichment to a data source with no manual intervention, a first for the industry. New data cleansing, enrichment, and normalization routines in the Secure Connect engine now offer more than 500 unique routines to automatically manage data from unlimited data sources.
Additionally, Grasp has finalized its streaming compression and encryption routines improving performance and speed of the data synchronization and updating processes by over 300%.
