Great interest for the Ministry of Cannabis seeds at the Spannabis 2010
Spannabis, also known as the Seventh Annual Hemp and Alternative Technology Fair, became the "Cannabis Capital of the World" during its three day run. A great deal of interested was centered around the Ministry of Cannabis seed exhibit.
Online, May 3, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Billed as "The Largest Cannabis Fair on the Planet", Spannabis 2010 was the place to be last February 26-28. Held in Barcelona, an expected 20,000 of the world's highest society and 150 exhibitors converged for a festival of fun, music, and all things cannabis.
Spannabis, also known as the Seventh Annual Hemp and Alternative Technology Fair, became the "Cannabis Capital of the World" during its three day run. A wide variety of products including industrial hemp, soil and hydroponic cultivation materials, incredibly beautiful and useful paraphernalia, and some of the world's best known seed banks exhibited for the delight and edification of cannabis connoisseurs.
A great deal of interested was centered around the Ministry of Cannabis seeds exhibit. This seed bank, based in Amsterdam, has a ten-year history of research and cooperation with the best marijuana seed banks in the world. In the past, the Ministry of Cannabis has concentrated on producing "exclusive seeds for a small crowd", but with its new line of feminized and autoflowering cannabis seeds, it feels that it is time to offer their excellent product to the world.
Anyone who has ever tried their hands at cultivation knows that it can be a complicated and tricky operation. Usually, a standard pack of cannabis seeds has roughly a 50/50 male-female mix. In a 50/50 crop, the male plants, which have a very low THC count anyway, have to be separated as soon as possible to make sure they don't fertilize the female plants. If this isn't done soon enough, the female plants will grow small buds with lots of seeds.
Female plants left to their own devices, as cannabis connoisseurs know, grow bigger, riper buds, without a quantity of seeds. The Ministry of Cannabis offers cloned feminized seeds (a.k.a. female seeds) that do cost more, but that cost is well worth the saving of time, and in the quantity of quality of the yield.
The other Ministry of Cannabis offering that generated much interest were the autoflowering seeds. These miraculous little gems were first being talked about four or five years ago. The idea was to develop a seed strain that flowered, not in response to light cycles, but to their age; now that dream has become a reality. These autoflowering cannabis seeds can be planted and grown anywhere, from a room to a window box. The seeds grow a healthy plant in fourteen days. Then they enter into a period of amazingly rapid flowering.
The plants have a lifespan of approximately seventy days from seed to harvest. This means that multiple harvests can be generated through the growing season. No longer are expensive lights and complicated growth calculations needed to grow a quality cannabis plant.
The Ministry of Cannabis exhibit was buzzing with excitement during Spannabis. With Spanish, Catalan, English, Dutch, and Italian speakers, the Ministry was able to reach a large crowd. It shouldn't be long before people throughout the world will be enjoying the harvest of knowledge and superior smoke that the Ministry of Cannabis had to offer.
