Great Lakes Surfer Burton Hathaway Joins Nada Worry
Nada Worry announces the addition surfer of Burton Hathaway to their athlete roster
Online, May 6, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Nada Worry, an action sports company from Minneapolis, has been creating waves in the surf industry by recently adding Huntington Beach native and fresh water surfer, Burton Hathaway, to their team of athletes. Burton grew up surfing in California and surfed for the Fountain Valley Surf team before moving to Racine, WI just over 7 years ago. Although he never imagined he would become a great lakes surfer, his west coast style and ability to thrive in harsh conditions have quickly made him arguably the best surfer in the fresh water surf scene. "The surf culture on the Great Lakes is something very special, and after surfing all over the place for the last 24 years, I can tell you there is nothing like it in the world," says Hathaway.
Nada Worry Founder Rob Barse says, "We are stoked to have Burton representing Nada Worry. His love and passion for surfing is exactly what we search for in our athletes. Not to mention, Burton can absolutely rip these Great Lakes like very few people can!" He continues by stating "We want our athletes to do what they do because they absolutely love it and couldn't imagine doing anything else - that's who Burton is."
Nada Worry recently emerged into the market as a premium apparel brand for action sports athletes and adventure travelers. After launching in 2012, Nada Worry has sponsored several action sports competitions as well as four athletes that competed in the Red Bull Crashed Ice series.
Nada Worry drops their new line in June 2013 that will feature limited edition designs from a well-known international surf artist. Meyer says, "We will have a lot more announcements and some very exciting news in the coming weeks!"
