Great Southern Craft Beer Competition Calls for Homebrewer Entries

Atlanta, GA, August 16, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Following the annual success of the Great Southern Craft Beer Competition, Publik Draft House (P.D.H.) officially calls for entries for the 2016 homebrew competition.  Southeastern homebrewers are invited to submit original beers beginning September 1. A panel of beer experts will judge the entries, with the winning brew showcased at the 2016 Great Southern Craft Beer Party, taking place Sunday, January 15 at Orpheus Brewing.  At the party, Publik Draft House will present the winner of the competition with a cash prize and Orpheus Brewing Experience.

How to Enter the Competition

The 2016 Great Southern Craft Beer Competition entry period begins September 1 and runs through October 31, 2016.  Contestants must pay a $15 fee per beer entry and may submit up to three entries. Each entry must include three bottles of the specialty home brew and be delivered to P.D.H. at 654 Peachtree Street in Atlanta by October 31. The winner will take home a suite of grand prizes, including $1,000 and an Orpheus Brewing Experience.  Entries are only eligible when accompanied by the entry form and competition labels found at http://greatsouthernbeercompetition.net/.
