Greater Goods Roasting Launches Coffee Blend in Support of Creatine Deficiencies
Carlsbad, CA, October 19, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Greater Goods Coffee Roasters of Austin, Texas was started by a husband and wife team with the promise to support worthy charities with each sale of custom roasted coffee. Co-founder, Trey Cobb stated, “We believe that the best companies are the ones that give a little back. We’re proud to support these great charities.”
A new coffee blend, Reid’s Blend, was recently launched that will return $1 of all sales to the Association for Creatine Deficiencies (ACD) in honor of a local Texas boy, Reid. Reid has Creatine Transporter Deficiency (CTD) which currently has no treatment. ACD supports education, early diagnosis, and research into cures and treatments, for Creatine Deficiencies like Reid’s.

About ACD: The Association for Creatine Deficiencies’ mission is to eliminate the challenges of CCDS. ACD is committed to providing patient, family, and public education to advocate for early intervention through newborn screening, and to promote and fund medical research for treatments and cures for Cerebral Creatine Deficiency Syndromes. Because CCDS mimic symptoms of other medical conditions, patients are often first diagnosed with autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and other disorders. Proper diagnosis and early intervention are critical to establishing screening and treatments needed to improve life quality and longevity for the CCDS patient.
