Greg Metzger Joins RE/MAX Alliance Group

Sarasota, FL, August 3, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Greg Metzger has joined the Sarasota office of RE/MAX Alliance Group as a member of the Chris and Harvey Bernstein team.

After completing a degree in business economics from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, Metzger realized his childhood dream and was signed by the Oakland A’s baseball organization as a catcher. This was the same draft class that was made famous by Michael Lewis’s book “Moneyball.”

Once his baseball career ran its course, Metzger headed to New York to pursue a career on Wall Street. For 13 years he was involved in trading and finance within the oil and gas industry. He is an experienced real estate investor and has been investing in the Sarasota area for quite some time.   

Metzger has been working in and visiting the Sarasota area for more than a decade. He and his wife, Annie, have strong family connections to the Sarasota area. He is an avid golfer, cyclist, kayaker, paddle boarder, cross-fit enthusiast and also enjoys antiques and auctions.
