Monroe, NC - Greiner Bio-One North America, Inc. is pleased to announce the grand opening of its newly expanded warehouse facility located in Monroe, North Carolina as of January 31st, 2010. The decision to expand the facilities was based on multiple years of successful revenue growth.
The warehouse adds 75,000 square feet of space to the Greiner facility and a 30 foot vertical height for the storing of inventory. In addition to the newly added square footage, ten acres of land has also been designated to accommodate a five year expansion plan for the future.
The facility currently consists of 11 docks for product shipping and receiving and a separate room designated for the fulfillment of sample orders. The facility includes a new employee breakroom, locker room and conference room. The new facility also adheres to the companies green initiative by including energy efficient lighting, windows and climate control features.
