Growing Environmental Company Opens Doors to New Warehouse
Ward Hill, MA, June 24, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Spruce Environmental Technologies, Inc., celebrated the opening of a new 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse at their corporate campus, located in the Ward Hill Business District of Haverhill, MA. Construction began in August 2015, and the materials handling warehouse became fully functional in April 2016. This new building is one of three buildings on the Spruce campus.
For more than 27 years, Spruce has manufactured and distributed top quality products for healthier indoor air. Under the brand name RadonAway®, the company manufactures the world’s leading radon fans, known throughout the radon industry for their unparalleled quality, reliability, and effectiveness. As Spruce continues to grow, expanding the company’s capabilities to produce more life-saving products, this warehouse is an essential step toward continuing to provide the highest level of service to the company’s global customer base.
"We are most excited about the improved functionality of our materials handling department and being able to continue to provide high quality service to our customers as we keep growing."
Howard Zidel, CFO
From start to finish, the construction of Spruce’s new warehouse incorporated products sold through the company and its RadonAway brand (vapor barrier, radon mitigation fans and accessories, etc.), as well as techniques taught through Spruce Radon Training, which offers highly regarded courses for radon professionals.
To celebrate this important phase in Spruce’s growth and to acknowledge the contributions of 80+ dedicated Ward Hill staff members, the company held a grand opening event this past month. Special guests included New England Patriots cheerleaders and retired Patriots offensive tackle, Max Lane. “The size alone of the building makes an impression,” says Chief Financial Officer of Spruce and one of the company’s founders, Howard Zidel. “It’s a great place for an event, but we are most excited about the improved functionality of our materials handling department and being able to continue to provide high quality service to our customers as we keep growing.”
