GWI Expands Stop Loss Portfolio With Fairmont Specialty Partnership
GreenWood International to Underwrite Medical Stop Loss on Behalf of Fairmont Specialty's A&H Division
Online, July 14, 2010 (Newswire.com) - BOSTON, MA - GreenWood International Insurance Services, Inc. (GWI) of Boston, MA expands the company's product offerings by entering into a production agreement with Fairmont Specialty of Eatontown, NJ. Effective immediately, GreenWood International will be underwriting medical stop loss for self funded employer groups on behalf of Fairmont Specialty's Accident and Health division. This will allow GWI to offer their producers an alternative product to fill their clients' risk management needs.
Fairmont Specialty is part of Crum & Forster, a national underwriting company with an A (Excellent) rating from AM Best. Fairmont Specialty's Accident and Health Division is a leader in the medical stop loss market. Fairmont prides itself on risk management diversity, offering a portfolio that includes both insurance and reinsurance products such as travel accident, specialty carve-out policies, collegiate accident and sickness and pet insurance.
