Haiku Learning Releases Developer API for Its Learning Management System

Instant updates ensure online class data is current with other systems

Haiku Learning Systems today announced the release of its updated application programming interface (API), expanding the scope of its data integration abilities.

The API enables schools and districts using Haiku LMS to tie into the learning management system for immediate updates from their Student Information System (SIS) and other software, have automatic error reporting that replaces the manual processes previously required, and easily extract data. The updated API supports data related to schools, classes, rosters, and users. The previous version supported only user data.

Bryan Falcón, CEO of Haiku Learning, is pleased with the direction this release moves the learning management system. "Our schools and districts need a system that seamlessly complements other third-party software and doesn't require redundant work on the part of their staff. " he said. "We like to say that Haiku LMS plays well with others, and this update further extends our ability to contribute to the community of partners surrounding Haiku LMS."
