Haiku LMS Introduces the First of Several Plug & Play Integration Options
Haiku LMS recently released the first in a series of Plug & Play integrations - making data population between LMS and Student Information System automatic.
Online, April 28, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Haiku Learning Systems recently announced the first in a series of Plug & Play Student Information System (SIS) integrations with the Haiku LMS. This means automatic synchronization of student data - simply with a username and password.
Plug & Play Integration is currently available for the Veracross SIS and SAM 6i (Central Access). Utilizing its powerful API, Haiku LMS will be releasing more Plug & Play integrations over the coming months.
When provided with the right information to connect the systems, Haiku LMS is programmed to know exactly how to interpret and import the data from a specified SIS. One system talks to the other without custom configuration or user intervention. Users, classes and rosters in Veracross and SAM 6i show up in Haiku LMS automatically within an hour.
"Plug & Play integration is just one more step toward helping Haiku LMS and IT systems sync with ease" says Bryan Falcón, Haiku Learning's CEO. "A primary focus for Haiku Learning is providing simple integration solutions for our K12 schools and districts. Many of our clients will benefit from the time savings and simplicity."
Haiku LMS will continue to import data from other Student Information Systems that are not Plug & Play in the form of CSV uploads. They will also continue to release more Plug & Play options for quick and easy data population.
