Hancock Returns to Dorset for The 4th Dorset Piddle Comedy Festival

This years eagerly awaited festival programme will kick off on March 30th at Durlston Castle, with Bournemouth based Theatre group 'Burnt Toast' making their debut in the area.

Performing Hancock's Half Hour, they will show-case two episodes 'The Missing Page' and 'The Bowman's'. Returning the great man himself to his original roots, as he is known to have made his stage debut here in 1933, whilst at Durlston Court School.

To kick off The 4th Dorset Piddle Comedy Festival, newly refurbished award winning Durlston Castle are also offering a set 3 course early supper menu, at their Seventh Wave restaurant for £20.12. Pre booking is essential and tables are available for reservation from 5.30pm

Also on Friday 30th, The Royal British Legion host an evening of Open Comedy, with the chance to see possible stars of the future, tickets on the door at the amazing price of £3!

The Sun Sea and Stand up programme follows with established local venues Bay View, The Football Club, and The Royal British Legion, offering a fantastic programme, including BBC New Comedy Award winner and triple Pierrier award nominee Dan Atopolski (who also played Jesus in the Da Vinci Code!) Nick Page ("The best Story teller on the circuit, Rhod Gilbert.) and Steve Best ("Rip roaringly funny" The Guardian.) with a great mix of compares for all three venues.
With continuing sponsorship from Piddle Brewery, the festival is going from strength to strength.
