Happiest Minds, the IT venture of industry veteran Ashok Soota, today announced the finalists of the country's first crowd-sourced logo contest.
The finalists of the logo contest for Happiest Minds were chosen by a jury that comprised of eminent members such R. Sridhar, Founder IdeasRS, Geetha Narayanan, Founder-Director, Srishti School of Art Design and Technology, Rukmini Krishnaswamy, Director, Spastic Society and Jessie Paul, CEO, Paul Writer. Ashok Soota chaired the jury.
The competition, which was hosted on techgig.com in addition to the corporate website, generated 1402 entries. From over 1400 logos that were received, 210 were shortlisted based on relevance, uniqueness and memorability, and showcased for public voting. The logos voted to the top 25 from www.happiestminds.com and www.techgig.com were provided to the jury for final selection.
The jury selected 5 logos which will be further refined to meet commercial usage requirements and then undergo a legal screening process to ensure corporate viability. The designer of the final logo will win US$2000. 'We received an overwhelming response to our quest to create a logo inspired by happiness.
