(New York, NY) Harlem's premiere destination for bowling and entertainment will celebrate its four-year anniversary with a star-studded tournament on May 6th from 7pm - 11pm at Harlem Lanes, 2116 Adam Clayton Powell Boulevard, (7th Avenue), at the corner of 126th Street. Hosted by hip-hop legend Ed Lover of NYC's Power 105, Harlem Lanes Presents: Celebrity Strikeout will be an exciting night of bowling for a cause, with a portion of proceeds to benefit the winning team's chosen charitable organization!

The inaugural event will enlist participation from a mix of celebrities, influentials, VIPs and high-profile companies to convene for one night to party with a purpose. The tournament will consist of 46 teams of five players each competing to raise funds. Team entry fees are $1,500 and sponsored lanes are available for $5,000. Guests can register their team at http://www.celebritystrikeout.com/ and will be confirmed on a first come first serve basis.

From its inception in 2006, one that was lauded by former president Bill Clinton and other New York City officials, Harlem Lanes has remained committed to the revitalization of the Harlem community and has become a staple in the local entertainment scene.

"Four years later, Harlem Lanes continues to uphold its promise and commitment to the renaissance of Harlem," says Harlem Lanes proprietor Gail Richards. "Our success, and very existence, would not be possible without the unwavering support of the Harlem community. With our Celebrity Strikeout anniversary event we're able to extend our gratitude, have a great time, and continue our mission to give back."

The Harlem Lanes Presents: Celebrity Strikeout will be the grand finale in a series of community-oriented events at Harlem Lanes during April and May (e.g. Kids' Day Free Bowl, Karaoke, Jazz Night, etc.) to commemorate the venue's 4 year anniversary.
