Phoenix, AZ, March 10, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Dawn Sauer graduated from the University of San Diego in 1996 with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Law and Society. Her passion for law enforcement continued after her undergraduate career. She enrolled in the policy academy where she graduated top of her class. She then joined the San Diego Sheriff’s Department where she worked as an Emergency Services Dispatcher. Her time in law enforcement inspired in her greater interest in the legal field.

Dawn Sauer enrolled in the University of San Diego School of Law in the fall of 2000. Throughout law school, she continued to work with the San Diego Sheriff’s Department as an Emergency Services Dispatcher handling events including assaults, pursuits, domestic violence incidents and an officer-involved shooting.

During law school, she participated in moot court competitions, mock trials, and argued a case before the Court of Appeals while clerking at the Attorney General’s office in the Criminals Appeals Division. She graduated in 2003 and was admitted to the California State Bar in the same year.

After relocating to Arizona, she was admitted to the Arizona State Bar in 2013. As part of the Hastings & Hastings team, she will be bringing her extensive legal experience, boundless energy, and passion for client relations.
